Listen to the world - to enjoy it

Training, studying or everyday life at work - every form of hearing loss puts a strain on those affected and makes the demands of learning and working more difficult. There are often considerably fewer educational opportunities, mental devaluation or inconsideration in dealing with hearing loss in the workplace, which may result in a tendency to withdraw and even isolate.
It is not only the fact that hearing loss can sometimes prevent access to education and training, but the importance of intact hearing for coping with everyday life is also felt in the workplace at the latest.

In addition to genetic components, excessive exposure to noise, chronically elevated blood sugar levels (diabetes), circulatory disorders, infections, metabolic problems, nerve damage or accidents can cause hearing impairment, as can some medications, alcohol and even smoking. Conversely, untreated hearing loss carries a higher risk of developing depression.
If left untreated, hearing loss not only affects everyday life in education or at work, but also significantly impairs the quality of life of those affected in the long term. Early detection and treatment of hearing loss is therefore of central importance for a happy and fulfilling life and your health.
